Cool Tool – Pay With a Tweet!

Filed under: Author Tips,Promotion,Speaker Tips — Larry James @ 7:00 am

Authors and speaker… you’re gonna love this! Sell your products for the price of a Tweet. This is a new tool called “Pay with a Tweet” that allows you to give away a digital product or download in exchange for a tweet or post on Facebook. The whole process is easy to set up, completely automated, and FREE to use.

eBOOKConsider using this tool to give away sample chapters from your book, an audio recording, an eBook, special report, white paper or just about any kind of digital product that has value with your audience. You can sign up at:

In today’s world the value of people talking about your product is sometimes higher than the money you would get for it. “Pay with a Tweet” is the first social payment system, where people pay with the value of their social network.

It’s simple, every time somebody pays with a Tweet, he or she tells all their friends about the product. Boom.

Is ‘Pay with a Tweet’ really free?
Yes. 100% really free.

Does ‘Pay with a Tweet’ also work with Facebook?
Yes. Users can choose if they want to pay with a post on Facebook or a Tweet on Twitter.

Can I choose another language than English?
Not yet. But we are working on it.

How can I track how many people paid with a Tweet?
There are multiple ways to track your Pay with a Tweet campaign. Here are some:

1. Track and count the Tweets with a service like For a keyword to track, use the URL of your Tweet-text, because this is the only part of the Tweet that the users can’t edit.

2. Track the clicks on your link. If you use to shrink the URL you use in your Tweet-text, you can access a simple statistic of clicks and latest Tweets (up to 100) by just adding the “+” icon behind the url. For example: If your URL is “” just add the “+” and see the statistic of it “”

3. Follow live who paid with a Tweet by just searching on Twitter for the URL of your Tweet-text.

Your users can decide if they want to pay with a tweet on Twitter or with a post on their Facebook wall to tell all their friends about you, your product and your brand.

I’m using it to give away my 25-page eBook, “How to Book Radio Shows and Be a Great Guest!” If you would like a free copy, pay for it with a Tweet and see how this cool tool works. 😉

Larry’s Note: A special “Thank you” to Stephanie Chandler, author, speaker and publisher for calling this to my attention.
